Be sure to take a look at our delightful line of patterns from Primitive Spirit by Karen Kahle. Many are available as kits with our fabulous hand dyed wools. Check out the Patterns page....you may just find a great Winter hooking project.

Take a look at one of our newest categories, Hand Dyed Wool Fleece. I've found a great source for beautiful raw fleece with extra long locks. Perfect for rug hooking. New colors will be added as we get them dyed but I think you'll love what we've come up with so far. Here's a peek:

I'm so pleased with our new product additions for 2009.... a new category in the Hand Dyed Woolens section for spot dyes, heavily mottled pieces and marbleized wools, delightful new rug hooking patterns from Annetiques, Hartman Hooks, Cushing's Dyes and a great basic collapsible rug hooking frame.

 Visiting The Merry Hooker's Studio...  

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area (or, if you're coming for a visit) and would like to arrange a shopping trip to my studio, just send me an email with your contact information and we can make an appointment. My studio is located in the historic Jack London Waterfront District of Oakland, California.....make a day of it, have a nice lunch and shop for great wool!

(Please note that the studio is open by appointment only....The Merry Hooker Woolens is a private studio & not a retail storefront.)

You're also welcome to join other hookers at our casual hook-in on the last Saturday of every month from 11:00 to 3:00 PM. Bring your project and your lunch and get ready to relax, visit and hook.
